Project title: Investment in a horizontal machining center with automatic pallet change to innovate and modernize the production department of the Officina Ferrari GBW srl.

Objectives: The main objective of the investment was to innovate the production department while simultaneously raising the technological level of the company thanks to the MCM TANK 1300 4 AXIS BIPALLET Work Center which, being equipped with software and sensors in a 4.0 perspective, processes a considerable amount of information which is used by the company to improve the quality of the products and to fulfill increasingly important orders by carrying out processes that could not be carried out previously. The investment also made it possible to reduce dependence on electricity consumption and increase the sustainability of the supply chain thanks to the transparency and traceability of the information collected and the processes implemented.
Results: Thanks to the new machinery OFFICINA FERRARI GBW S.R.L. achieved the following results:
- Increase in company production capacity
- Improved product quality
- Reduction of processing times and production waste with consequent reduction in company costs
- Reduction of environmental impact
- Better response to market demands
The project is carried out thanks to the European funds of the Emilia-Romagna Region
